The Christmas Story

The Christmas Story from St Paul's on Vimeo.

Merry Christmas!

I wanted to go ahead and go a Christmas post- but I won't be able to upload pictures until tomorrow.

*First of all- before I can even think about anything else- There is a MOUSE IN OUR HOUSE! I went downstairs around 12:30 for my nightly snack christmas vacation snack  and I flipped on the light switch and saw something rapidly move across the counter behind the toaster oven. Nervously, I ran out and slide out and this mouse dashes across the stove. I shriek. He disappears. End of story. He's still down there. I told my sister. She goes, "Oh! So you met Rufus?" I can't quite figure out what she means by that.

Christmas Eve was great. No snow unfortunately but there was a cool candle light service at church. We had salmon and grits for dinner and then all watched a Christmas Story.

It snowed lightly today. I received this beautiful jewelry box. I've always wanted one. Especially a beautiful one for a grown up girl.

Such a relaxing day. Was really blessed to receive lots of wonderful presents. I even got a kindle, which I completely wasn't expecting at all. Unfortunately I'm right in the middle of Sirens of Titan still so I can't start reading another book just yet!

I'm at least going to try....

I promised myself that I would not blog when I had more important things to be doing....such a tests, projects, work, or finals. That being said....it's just now that I feel justified in sitting down and catching up on all the fabulous blogs I follow and updating my own.

Here is my attempt to catch you on my fall semester with pictures I've taken. I've only remembered to take my camera places a few times! Certainly wish I'd taken more!
