beach bound

Georgia is beautiful and more than kind to me...but her beaches are just too far away so for my last weekend in Spain I'll be heading off the beach with a few chicas. I'm not sure where...perhaps even heading over to Portugal again? Or Cadiz? There's a few on our consideration list. I just realized that I'll be leaving for the beach early this Friday morning and coming home late Sunday night. Monday and Tuesday will be used for extreme cramming ( I went from knowing just one tense to about six) and honestly, my marketing class is just about the most boring thing I've ever witnessed so I'll have to read the book. That leaves very little time left for packing because I certainly don't want to spend my last night inside the house. So pack now to leave ample time for the beach checking out all the recommend night spots and maybe, just maybe, we might all make it inside a discoteca for once. Just once is all I'm really asking for.

Besides, what's the point of spending a summer in Spain if you don't come home with a Spanish tan? Kidding :)

Thank goodness my exams on on Wednesday instead of Thursday. I couldn't imagine taking two exams and then taking an overnight bus to Madrid for a morning flight. I went ahead and started organizing my things. Normally, I wouldn't worry until the night before but considering my bag was 20 lbs over the weight limit on the trip here I'm hoping to eliminate that extra weight so I don't have to check two bags. I'm hoping all the bottles of things like shampoo, conditioner, and etc. that are now empty weighed somewhere around 20.

Of course, I'll be writing detailed descriptions of Spain, Portugal, and Morocco once I'm back home. I'll even be posting some pictures of the food that Sarah and I eat for every meal, complete with a warning label that those with queasy stomach should view with caution.

I presented my marketing presentation yesterday and that's all we're be working on until the exam so I really don't see the point in going today. I informed my Spanish teacher today that I won't be in attendance tomorrow. She seemed completely satisfied with the explanation that I'll just be walking around and hanging out.
