Emerald Isle

I'm up in Emerald Isle, North Carolina for my first weekend of summer. I just walked back in the hotel door from dinner- crab cakes- one of my favorites. My cousin Jade's wedding was earlier today. It was on the beach- even the preacher took his shoes off! I loved the informality that came with the ceremony being on the beach. There's something about being dressed up and barefoot that I just love. It was a beautiful wedding and certainly made me start daydreaming about my own wedding one day. I had the best time catching up with relatives, dancing, and being out in the sun. - I'll post pictures once they're upload to my computer


The Jane Austen Book Club is on tv right now...I've always wanted to watch this..unfortunately looks like I'll be watching from starting in the middle. Maybe just because I think Hugh Dancy is perhaps one of the best looking men to ever grace television.

There are just so many things in life to which I'm looking forward.
